TripAdvisor Partners Up with Grubhub to Offer Restaurant Delivery Service
Travel site TripAdvisor and Grubhub, a hugely successful American online and mobile food ordering company, have recently announced that they will be joining forces. As part of the agreement concerning the dynamic new partnership, Grubhub’s restaurant network will be integrated into the Trip Advisor desktop website, mobile web and mobile app platforms.
This new development means that TripAdvisor users will now have the option to order food from tens of thousands of Grubhub’s restaurant partners in 1,100 cities across America. Upon clicking ''order online'' customers will gain access to Grubhub’s online or mobile platforms to efficiently place their order.
According to Bertrand Jelensperger, Senior Vice President at TripAdvisor Restaurants, their latest venture further demonstrates how TripAdvisor continues to enable travelers and locals to find their perfect meal, now providing consumers with an even greater opportunity to find their dream dish, through enabling them to not only find or reserve a table at the restaurant of their choice but to have the food from these establishments delivered to their door.
Sudev Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Product for Grubhub, is delighted that the company is now working in collaboration with TripAdvisor. Balakrishnan has said that this latest move ties in with Grubhub’s desire to continue to make it easier for their customers to find and order food, also expressing his excitement at the prospect of being able to connect Grubhub customers with TripAdvisor’s massive mobile and desktop audience.
